To all the West Bromwich fans who are moaning about the club not signing Paddy McCourt, I have it on good authority that the real reason was due to the new owner of club not wishing to be associated with low inadequate signings. The talks are at an advanced stage and the new unamed owner, made it clear to the chairman Mr Peace that the quality of players that will come in to the club will be of a standard much higher that what the club have been used to. Due to the chnge of ownership being so close the new owner insists in being kept informed of all possible signings. Money for new players will not be an issue.
